Receptionist opening at the Revive Dance Xchange
Job Title: Receptionist
Description: Revive Dance Xchange
is looking for an energetic, personable, and organized self-starter to join our team as front
desk receptionist. Duties include, but are not limited to: greeting clients, requesting and
taking payments from clients, answering the phone, answering client questions, selling classes
and studio merchandise, managing client accounts, light cleaning, light lifting, providing
support to instructors when needed, basic office-related tasks and other projects as assigned.
Please note that a big part of this job is asking clients for payment.
Qualifications: Must be a punctual, detail-oriented team player who is able to work
independently with minimal supervision. The person in this position needs to be upbeat,
friendly and able to interact with all clients in a professional manner. Being organized
is a must. Must be able to think quickly, and solve problems as they arise. Being familiar
with dance in general is a plus.
Hours: Tuesdays 4-7:30pm, Wednesdays 4:30-8:30pm, Thursdays 5:30-8:30pm; hours are set through
June and may change in the summer months to accommodate the summer class schedule. Coverage at
special events including the annual holiday showcase, picture day, spring showing and recital
(and dress rehearsal) required.
Start Date: ASAP (ideally Tuesday, Oct 11)
Salary: based on experience
