News: Youth Initiative looking for participants from North Shore studios and schools The NSDA is looking for area studios and schools to participate in this year's Youth Initiative. The Alliance will be sponsoring its 6th annual Youth Initiative Event on Sunday, February 14, in Marblehead.. This event brings together the most passionate students from the area to meet each other, take a master class and share a dance piece in an informal performance. This year's master class will be taught by Carlos Fittante, director of Balam Dance Theatre, a Balinese company. For more information or to participate, contact us. Open call for choreographers The NSDA is sponsoring its 8th annual Choreographers' Concert on March 26 & 27, 2010, at the Firehouse Arts Center in Newburyport. Semi-porfessional and professional choreographers on the north shore of Massachusetts are invited to show work (performers must be 18 or older). To inquire further, contact us.
